SHIPPING POLICY

The Cats Mao currently ships to all destinations within South Africa.

1. Courier Partners

Orders are fulfilled and dispatched using trusted courier partners, including:

  • The Courier Guy
  • PUDO
  • Aramex
  • Other approved courier partners where necessary

The Cats Mao reserves the right to select the most appropriate courier based on your delivery address and order size.

2. Order Processing and Dispatch

In accordance with Section 46 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, we will execute and dispatch your order within 30 (thirty) days of receiving it, unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of purchase.

In practice, orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days of payment confirmation.

If we are unable to fulfil your order within the agreed timeframe or if ordered goods are unavailable, we will notify you immediately and provide a full refund within 30 days of that notification.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Standard delivery typically takes 6 to 11 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location within South Africa. Deliveries to outlying or remote areas may take additional time.

Delivery estimates exclude:

  • Weekends
  • South African public holidays
  • Delays caused by weather events, courier disruptions, load-shedding, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

These exclusions are consistent with the force majeure provisions recognised under South African law.

4. Tracking

Where tracking information is available from our courier partners, we will provide this to you by email or SMS once your order has been dispatched.

5. Delivery Failure and Undeliverable Packages

It is your responsibility to ensure that a complete and accurate delivery address is provided at checkout. The Cats Mao cannot be held liable for delayed, failed, or misdelivered orders resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier partners will follow their standard re-delivery or collection procedures. Additional re-delivery fees may apply in such cases and will be for your account.

6. Free Shipping

Free nationwide shipping applies to qualifying orders where clearly indicated on the website at the time of purchase. Qualifying thresholds and conditions will be displayed at checkout.

7. Risk and Ownership

Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon delivery. If goods arrive visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging before opening and contact us within 48 hours at thecatsmao.info@gmail.com. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for further detail on damaged deliveries.
